Virtual Training for Diverse Leaders

About the Skidmore Consulting Client

  • CLIENT: NGLCC’s Chamber Leadership Alliance
  • INDUSTRY: Association
  • LOCATION: Washington, DC, USA

The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce delivers invaluable programming for its members and stakeholders. One of those critical programs the NGLCC facilitates alongside the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC), U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), and the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC), is the Chamber Leadership Alliance (CLA). The CLA regularly offers professional development opportunities for its members. And they were in need of a series of strategic planning training sessions to next level the leadership skills of their chamber leaders.

Dr. Sarah loves facilitating online leadership training to strengthen the leadership muscle of participants. And, what’s better than collaborating with diverse participants from around the country! The multi-part training series focused on strategic thinking, business tools, and strategic planning. The live online format works great for multi-locational groups looking to maximize the amount of participants who may benefit from a training experience.

Video Testimonial

“The NGLCC is proud to work with Dr. Sarah Skidmore… as part of our Chamber Leadership Alliance, which is a cross-segment training program to help chamber leaders of diverse LGBT, ethnic and racial minorities, chambers learn, grow, and scale… Dr. Sarah is so great at providing continuity in her learning experiences and making sure she’s meeting her clients exactly where they are at… I frankly cannot say enough positive things about our experience of working with Dr. Sarah. I would recommend Skidmore consulting to anyone looking to enhance and grow their own business practices or to help their teams learn, grow, scale, succeed together. Truly an incredible leader.” – Sabrina K., Executive Vice President, Programs & External Affairs
